Sunrise over Twin Bridges, Montana
What My email Said: | Retrospective: |
Dad, et al found me just fine last night. I am writing this by the side of the road for the 1st time. We're climbing a difficult pass & dad is a bit slower than me, so I'm writing this as I wait for him. Montana continues to be delightful-we saw 2 deer & an antelope today. Here he comes. More later. Well, he made it up the hill and we had a great downhill ride. He's tired and sore, but ready to go it another day... |
Again, the reality here being that not only was I faster than my dad, but I also purposefully rode ahead in order to smoke cigarettes. Mind you, I was only successful in doing this maybe 2-3 times a day, but that was where my mind was focused. |
