There you can find 11 multi-national restaurants, a hardware store, 2
grocery stores (including a natural food store), post office, nursery and
other essential services. |

Situated in the heart of the Puna district, Pahoa is approximately 39 miles
from Hilo and the international airport. Kehena, 7-9 miles away, has a
black sands swimming beach. Opihikao has a boat marina and swimming.
Kapoho boasts a natural pond adjoining the ocean, heated by the island's
volcanic activity. The entire area is lush from the abundant rainfall,
providing for amazing natural beauty. |
