| Instead, I made even more money
with computers and acted in just two shows. The first caused me great
misery, partially because of the nature of the plot, but mostly because of
the nature of the venue. The second show was mostly just a verification that paying $2,000 to be in a show was not what I considered to be a worthwhile lifestyle. Thus, a year after my first bike trip, I quit acting. Or at least I quit thinking that I was going to try and be a "professional" actor. It was hard, but it was a decision that was actually about 15 years in the making, so it was overdue. I decided to venture onto the by-ways of America once again, but this time the drive was not so strong. A little fatter, a little older, and perhaps a tad more cavalier.
